Waste & Recycling Collection

​

  • Town wide weekly waste collection 

  • Commercial cardboard pick up and cardboard pick up and hauling from the Town's rink recycling center.

  • Commercial cardboard collection 

  • Transportation of Cardboard from the Town's drop off recycling center located in the Parking lot of our Local Arena and behind the Courthouse (244 23 St, Fort MacLeod, AB T0L 0Z0)

M.D Transfer Station 

​

  • We accept waste from residents located in the Municipal District of Willow Creek.

  • Our regular M.D. waste bay is open to accept waste from M.D. residents only on Wednesdays from 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm.

  • Non M.D. residents caught using this bay will be charged landfill tipping and handling fees.

Landfill Transfer Station 

​

  • We operate a solid waste transfer station, we accept materials from our community residents to store, prepare and transport to the landfill for a fee. Our Landfill Transfer station is generally open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.  

  • Landfill Tipping and Handling Charges do apply.

  • We are now able to accept Televisions and Monitors, handling fees do apply. 

  • We do not accept any toxic waste/materials/chemicals/appliances such as paint cans, oil, grease, refrigerators, freezers and more.
